Arcadia is one of the closest neighborhoods to our office. A few minutes’ drive from the citrus groves and mid-century ranch homes that give Arcadia its character. That proximity matters on a day when timing is tight: we can often be at your door faster here than almost anywhere else we serve.

 

A neighborhood we already know well

Between the older ranch homes east of 44th Street, the horse-zoned lots tucked closer to Camelback Mountain, and the newer builds filling in around them, Arcadia has more variety than people expect from the outside. We’ve done visits under orange trees in backyards that have been in the same family for decades, and in newer homes with a dog who’s spent its whole life on artificial turf and a view of Camelback. Wherever your pet is most at ease is where the appointment happens – patio, driveway, favorite bedroom, it’s your call.

 

What the visit includes

Dr. Eileen McCarthy performs every procedure herself, alongside Marlee, our Certified Veterinary Technician, who assists with IV placement and calm, practiced restraint. Our sedation protocol is one of the strongest and gentlest used anywhere in the Valley, so your pet is fully relaxed and comfortable well before the final medication is given. Most visits run thirty minutes to an hour, entirely at your family’s pace.

A paw print and small fur clipping come standard with every visit, and aftercare is handled exclusively through Aquacrossings, a water-based cremation provider, with ashes typically returned to your home within two weeks.

 

Availability

Given how close Arcadia sits to our office, same-day appointments are frequently possible here, and we take calls seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beyond Arcadia, we serve all of Phoenix along with Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Glendale, and Peoria.
